Offering Continuing Education Courses for Registered Massage Therapists on how to integrate yoga therapy as therapeutic exercise.
Yoga therapy for RMT's is a Self care based course offering rest for the busy RMT, while sharing some basic exercises that can be used with patients in your clinical practice. We will discuss the nervous system and trauma; and practice simple embodiment exercises to help with our work as therapists. You will come away from this course feeling refreshed, and have tools to share in your clinical practice.
Hundreds of RMT's have benefited from these courses over the last 8 years; finding the information and experiences vital for the clinical practice.
Yoga therapy includes Evidence Based applications, and has been clincally proven to assist with sleep disorders, anxiety and PTSD (effects of Trauma)

Safe and effective yoga application for support in the healing of injury and recovery. The approach of yoga in this practice is simple and inclusive; focusing on finding the breath and developing embodied awareness. Gentle movements can help repair connective tissue and promote more ease with daily activities.
I bring a curious and gentle approach to each session and each body. I am continually fascinated by the mechanism of movement, pattern and injuries that are told as stories in the body.
I have been studying the pelvis, the pelvic bowl and how it relates to the spine, and to back pain. It is so interesting to work with people and help improve posture and movement
I have been teaching and assisting as a clinical supervisor for 10 years, and have been teaching professional continuing education courses for 8 years. My personal continuing education around the nervous system and trauma inform the simple and somatic based trainings I offer, using a gentle yoga therapy lens.
